“I started woodworking 12 years ago with a focus on building acoustic guitars. Since then I have dabbled a bit in making other things out of wood and have long wanted to explore other aspects of the craft. I feel like most of the wooden objects we interact with in day to day life are often simply commodities made to make money for large corporations, but I think the craft of woodworking can be a revolutionary thing, placing the means of production within ones own community or even in ones own hands, producing long lasting objects of value beyond their monetary worth. I hope to continue to explore traditional woodworking as a means of creating functional objects with a value beyond the monetary.”
